WHO ARE WE?

The journey at the Vale da Rainha Sanctuary began in 2011, when the couple Patrícia and Vitor decided to leave the city and reconnect with nature.
Since then, with the support of volunteers, they have been organizing programs to share stories of Masters Animal, aiming to raise awareness and prevent new victims.

We call them Masters because they teach us so much about forgiveness and unconditional love.

Located in a magical place, the Sanctuary is now home to hundreds of Animal Masters, including buffaloes, oxen, pigs, horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, birds, dogs, and cats rescued from mistreatment!
It also promotes important emotional work, encompassing compassion and awareness, which reaches us humans as well.

The Sanctuary is a non-profit association and needs to cover the high costs of food, treatments, facilities, and care for the Masters Animal who live there and are occasionally rescued.

In addition to its sustenance through partnerships and experiences, it humbly accepts contributions to provide a dignified life for these Masters, who teach us daily about love.

Patricia, also a teacher of yoga, philosophy, and meditation, offers these practices at the Sanctuary as tools for personal development... Things don’t change. People change! Changed people change the world!
